Recycle Crushing Industries (an affiliate of Park Paving Ltd.) is a locally owned and operated recycled aggregates supplier servicing the Edmonton and surrounding area. We are looking for a YARD LABOURER to join our team to aid in the day-to-day running of the our crushing operations at our various sites in the Edmonton and surrounding area .
This is a full-time seasonal position that offers competitive wage, and benefits.
The primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
Helping setup and move conveyors
Helping setup and move crushers
Spotting for trucks and heavy equipment
General maintenance of the crushers and yard; this could include sweeping, and various other chores
Operator experience is an asset (skid steer and loaders)
Preference will be given to those candidates with some mechanical aptitude
Successful candidates will thrive in a physically demanding, highly productive, and high-pressure environment. They will also possess a valid driver’s license and have a strong drive to contribute to the team's success by working with operators and other crew members to perform a wide range of duties. Successful candidates will also be able to maintain a safety-minded and high accountability work culture while working with their direct supervisors, and other employees while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
Successful candidates must have a driving record free of major infractions, and must pass a medical/fitness exam, as conditions of employment.
