This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our Operations teams and will gain exposure to innovative logistics systems that will propel their learning of supply chain and logistics processes and technologies. This includes technologies and business streams such as: The middle mile and last mile processes as well as their Transportation Management systems Logistics applications such the driver mobile application and the warehouse exception management mobile application In-house developed Warehouse management systems Business Intelligence tools Warehouse automation and sorting hardware such as scanners and automated sorters Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse, document and optimize existing logistics and transportation processes for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Work closely with stakeholders to gather and comprehend business requirements, ensuring that operational goals align with broader organizational objectives. Assist in the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and performance of logistics operations. Participate in the evaluation, design and implementation of technology and process improvements that elevate logistics and transportation operations. Draft comprehensive Business Requirement documents to convey operational technology improvements to the development team effectively. Identify operational challenges and contribute to the development of practical solutions in collaboration with the team. Support in the creation of documentation, including process flows, operational requirements, and user guides Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Work experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational processes. Familiarity with logistics and transportation operations and an eagerness to understand and optimize them. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey operational insights clearly. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Enthusiastic about learning and adapting to the dynamic landscape of the logistics industry.
