Why Join The Team? The Quality Systems and Compliance auditor is the lead auditor for the Halifax Manufacturing Facility. This position supports the manufacturing lines while working closely with Quality Systems to Monitor and Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS). What will your day-to-day look like? Reporting to the Quality Manager and working with the manufacturing subdomains (Case Line, Blade Line, IBF Line), you will: Help to Define, Implement and Monitor the Quality Management System Create, execute and manage all aspects of the Annual Audit Plan Process Perform Audits related to Quality Procedures & Compliance, Product & Special Processes Support audits related to Environmental Health and Safety for both internal and external audits Support /lead an EHS committee as assigned Manage external audits Effectively monitor and follow up on non-conformances to ensure corrective actions are implemented and CARs are closed. Be a Resource/SME for Quality Training and Coaching Maintain Quality Procedures (Write, edit and ballot to Stakeholders) Utilize communication and soft skills to build relationships with employees, leadership, and external Domains/suppliers. Be able to work autonomously; you are self-managed with a demonstrated attention to detail and follow up. Be dependable and reliable; utilize your proven ability to effectively work with other groups and manage multiple priorities that will exist in your daily workload. What do you need to be successful? Degree or Diploma in an engineering discipline or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience 5 Years experience in a manufacturing environment; Quality Assurance experience is ideal ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Training and/or auditing experience Organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities Strong Computer Skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) What do we offer?
