Parkway Consumers Co-operative Ltd. is hiring a Deli Clerk II at our food store location in Roblin, Manitoba.
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Bakery/Deli Manager, a Deli Clerk II participates as a key member of the Parkway Co-op Ltd. organization. A Deli Clerk II will provide leadership, direction, and support to ensure the department delivers trusted products and services to the local community.
Organize, direct and co-ordinate the operations of the Deli Department
Foster a positive work environment that promotes a strong culture of engagement within the Department and the Food Store
Assist the Department Manager to co-ordinate chicken, pizza, platter programs. Create value-added items
Ensure standards of department presentation and operations are met, including cleanliness and sanitation, food safety and food handling standards, inventory control, rotation, ordering and delivery of customer service
Build displays
Promotion planning
Orientate and train team members
Other duties as required by the Bakery/Deli Manager

You have 2 or more years of progressively responsible leadership experience in the retail industry
Previous food experience would be considered an asset
