Key job responsibilities
- Build and cultivate relationships with ad tech decision-makers (CMO/CTO/VP
level) across both brands and agencies in order to successfully build and
maintain a sales pipeline
- Uncover core customer business needs and communicate the value of partnering
with Amazon’s ad tech suite to address them
- Collaborate with key internal teams (e.g. sales, services, product, solution
architects, marketing, etc.) to develop a strategic customer plan that is built
on the adoption of Amazon Ads technology products (e.g. Amazon Marketing Cloud,
Amazon DSP, APIs)
- Using knowledge of the industry landscape and trends, take a consultative
approach to identify and develop Amazon Ad’s unique selling propositions and
differentiators
- Capture and organize customer feedback on business alignment and usability of
Amazon Ads technology and collaborate with product management to drive scalable
changes through to completion
- Communicate the value proposition of Amazon Ads’ technology to consistently
move your customers through ad tech maturity, driving growth through adoption of
new technologies, products and features.
A day in the life
In this role, Senior Ad Tech Account Executives are subject matter experts
across our suite of ad tech solutions, including Amazon DSP, Amazon Marketing
Cloud, APIs, and AWS components. They focus on accelerating tech feature
activation and adoption - which improve campaign planning, activation, and
measurement - as an enabler to drive media growth and tech revenue fueled by our
ad tech flywheel. Sr. Ad Tech Account Executives build close relationships with
key advertising technology stakeholders (CMO/CTO/VP level) as well as
programmatic advertising leadership across agencies and brands. They remain
customer obsessed by collaborating with other internal Advertising sales teams
to develop strategic customer plans to grow programmatic media investment
through adoption of Amazon’s entire ad tech suite. They possess a deep
understanding of the ad tech/martech industry and regulations, to advise which
products and features within Amazon’s ad tech stack best address each customers’
main needs and challenges. For example, a Senior Ad Tech Account Executive
communicates to customers the benefits of investing in Amazon Marketing Cloud,
including insights of their core customer, creating durability in measurement
with industry shifts in identity, or developing custom models to evaluate the
lifetime value of customers. Ad Tech Account Executives play a strategic role in
the overall growth of the Amazon Ads business.

CPG, Telco, Hardlines, Entertainment, Softlines, Hospitality, Financial
Services, Auto) and agencies focused on growing revenue through the adoption of
advanced Ad Tech Features.
