The Business Development Manager organizes, plans, and executes sales initiatives to maximize volumes and profitability to achieve annual budget targets. What’s involved in this role: Achieving annual sales and profit budgets Monthly and annual forecasting management Develop account/category specific business plans to meet marketing and sales objectives consistent with the Organization’ strategic orientation. Provide a high level of analysis and organization in leading Contract and price increase negotiation Coordinate marketing programs and negotiate business arrangements to meet target objectives. Develop and present monthly business and investment reviews, identifying variance to forecast and needed recommendations that provide mutual benefit. Take part in developing sales and investment objectives by product category (budgets, volumes, costs). Identify strategic opportunities that highlight competitive advantage through offering added value in products and services (including distribution, billing, price list consolidation, EDI, etc.). Continuously perform post-audits on negotiation mandates and recommendations. Work within the framework of established budgets and continually take advantage of opportunities for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of sales expenses. What you need to join our team: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or in a related discipline; Minimum of 4-5 years of business development experience (preferably in the consumer-packaged goods industry). Strong understanding of AC Nielsen Reporting, marketing business principles, competitive trends and P&L management is required. Exceptional organization and analysis skills Excellent knowledge of English (Spoken and Written). Sound command of standard computer programs (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.).
