One of our companies is currently looking for an Internal Communications Specialist in Canada or United States.
In this role, you will be at the heart of fostering alignment and engagement within the company. Your primary focus will be to drive the internal communications strategy, ensuring that employees have access to important updates, celebrate wins, and feel connected to the company’s mission. You’ll be responsible for curating content across various channels like newsletters, Slack, and Notion, while maintaining an organized, clear, and engaging flow of information. Accountabilities:
Lead and execute internal communication strategies that align employees with company goals and mission
Plan and support company-wide communications, including weekly All-Hands meetings
Curate and manage the company newsletter, ensuring that updates are clear, engaging, and informative
Optimize the company intranet (Notion), ensuring it’s up-to-date and user-friendly for employees
Improve internal communication processes across platforms like Slack, Notion, and Google Suite
Create and maintain an internal communications playbook that outlines best practices and guidelines
Own and manage internal communication projects from start to finish, ensuring clarity and organization
Work closely with teams across the company to share stories and align messaging
2+ years of experience in internal communications or a similar role
Proven experience using Slack as a tool for internal communications
Experience managing a company intranet; familiarity with Notion is preferred
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure clear and structured information flow
Collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Passion for making internal communication more engaging, effective, and fun
