One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Software Developer - Full-stack in Canada.
As a Senior Full-stack Developer, you will work closely with the product team to design and develop high-quality web applications, driving innovation and improvements throughout the software lifecycle. This role provides the opportunity to take ownership of key features, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects and analysts. You will be responsible for building and maintaining enterprise-level .NET applications while ensuring best practices, code quality, and performance are met. The ideal candidate is a passionate C# and React developer with strong leadership skills and a desire to continuously improve both technically and as a team leader.
Accountabilities:
Design, build, and maintain enterprise .NET web applications using .NET Framework, .NET 5, and React
Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and other developers throughout the software development life cycle
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues uncovered during testing or customer feedback
Lead code reviews and ensure high-quality standards are maintained across the team
Enhance system performance by recommending and implementing software improvements
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and improvement
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by introducing new technologies and processes
Document work thoroughly, including technical specifications and user-facing documentation
Conduct unit, integration, and component testing to ensure the software meets requirements and quality standards
5+ years of software development experience with .NET
2+ years of experience with SPA frameworks, particularly React
Strong experience with version control software (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of relational and non-relational database design and development
Proven experience in web service integration using XML, SOAP, and REST technologies
Familiarity with multi-tier architecture and system design
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Experience in full life cycle software development, including design, development, and testing
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
