The MetaDor team, part of Amazon's BuilderWorks organization, collects and
analyzes metadata related to data usage across Amazon. Our services map
service-to-data relationships, infer schema, and generate insights for Amazon
service teams that influence data regionality decisions and performance versus
efficiency trade-offs.
MetaDor is a critical service informing Amazon's region flexibility data
migration strategy. Teams rely on MetaDor's insights to guide them through
complex and ambiguous data migrations.
We are looking for a customer obsessed, smart, results oriented manager with a
strong distributed systems background and experience delivering high performance
client/server architectures that scale. You will be responsible for defining the
strategy and roadmap for our technologies as required to deliver on our mission
both in the short and long term. You are responsible for managing people's
growth and providing career development for the team.
