Job Type: Regular Invest in you, Join Agropur. We dairy you! The Cost Analyst is responsible for monitoring the cost of goods in the ERP system and performing periodic updates of the cost data. They act as the go-to partner for operational finance (Plant and D&L) and collaborate with internal clients from the cost department, such as Category Finance, Commercial Finance, and Analytical Finance. What’s involved in this role: Formula Management: Create, modify, and perform regular monitoring of formulas in the integrated systems. Raw Material Updates: Collaborate with the Cost Manager to update raw material data and follow up with plant controllers to annually adjust BOMs (raw materials, ingredients, packaging). Overhead Tracking: Establish a monitoring process with plant controllers for the annual update of manufacturing overhead costs (Plant, FSP, Amort, D&L). Variance Analysis: Identify, analyze, and explain variances between updates, providing clear and simplified business explanations. Cost Analysis Production: Generate various cost analyses (new recipes, specific distribution by client, total production, dairy network impacts). Pricing Model Management: Manage and optimize Cost+ pricing models. Reporting & Data Integrity: Produce reports on raw materials (special classes, 4A, losses) and ensure data integrity in the systems. ERP Projects Participation: Actively contribute to the development of new tools during the deployment of the new SAP ERP system. What you need to join our team: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent. CPA designation (an asset). 3-4 years of experience in manufacturing, finance, or cost accounting. Advanced Excel skills (SAP, Oracle are assets). Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, show autonomy, and demonstrate curiosity.
