Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager, the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) Coordinator integrates knowledge and skill reflective of the Health Services model of care and principles of adult learning, in the provision of education, research, and quality client centered care for a defined group of clients. The Trans Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) Coordinator will be responsible for the provincial programming of the Saskatchewan TAVI services under the direction of the Cardiac Management/Heart Health team as well as the Provincial Medical Director. This position will work closely with the team to provide patient assessment, management and evaluation of TAVI services within the province and provide liaison services between the two tertiary care cardiac sites within the province (RQHR and SHR). In collaboration with their Manager, the TAVI Coordinator is responsible for the overall data management and patient waitlist/outcome measurement for the provincial TAVI program. The position will have specific responsibilities related to specialized client needs and clinical knowledge within Interventional Cardiology/Heart Health Program. As this program will see patients provincially (not just within their regions jurisdiction), provincial relationships, metric collection, collaboration with multiple stakeholders in both tertiary care centers will be a significant role.
