Responsibilities will include:
Dispensing petroleum products (gasoline, diesel, propane)
Washing windows and lights on vehicles, checking and filling vehicle fluids as requested
Merchandising products according to standards
General housekeeping duties
Adhering to all Evergreen Co-op policies and procedures
Performing other duties as assigned
Wearing all personal protective equipment and following all safe work practices
Transitioning frequently between indoors and outdoors, as well as, working in all types of weather conditions
Maintaining image standards at retail, bulk, and cardlock locations
Maintaining image standards outside the store and by pump islands
Qualifications will include:
Reliable vehicle required
Prior retail experience is an asset
Valid Driver’s License required
Mechanical aptitude is an asset
Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service
Organizational skills and great time management
Ability to work in independently and within a team environment
Preferences will be given to those candidates with previous or current retail experience in the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS). Applicants must have a good eye for detail, be able to work in a team setting, as well as be a productive independent worker, be reliable, have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and energetic.
