Work Flexibility: Field-based What you will do As Sales Representative, for Stryker’s Sage portfolio, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the selling of products to hospitals and clinicians to obtain maximum profitability. You will set strategy and tactical plans for your territory, and work to become a trusted partner to doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff. Additionally, you will serve as a valuable and contributing member of the Stryker Medical team as we work together to support Stryker’s Mission and Values. This position is on a contract basis for 12 months. Educates and informs nurses, nursing leadership, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Sage products Directs product evaluations. Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion Managing and maintaining a sample of inventory of products Maintain and protect the current base of business ensuring the current business is intact, guarding major accounts and building and maintaining a strong working relationship in the territory Grow sales to surpass the previous year’s growth. Sales growth should include all product lines. Additionally, develop Corporate Account and GPO sales activity Administrative duties include: Weekly sales calls and feedback reports to the Regional Manager; provide various monthly, quarterly and annual reports as requested Organize and plan utilizing Salesforce Develop extensive product, competitor and market knowledge Travel: FastTrack and other training, Yearly Global Sales Meeting, Regional Sales Meeting (2 times per year), Territory – 2 to 6 overnights per month depending on the territory, In-Servicing – routinely requires night and weekends as planned by the Outside Sale Representative with their customer What you need Required: University Degree 1+ years outside sales experience Preferred: Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a health-related discipline, science, or kinesiology 2+ years of experience in Medical Device Sales or clinical setting Additional Information: Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered Must have a valid driver’s license Travel Percentage: 70% Stryker is one of the world’s leading medical technology companies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
