As an Associate Wealth Advisor, you will work with an Investment Advisor team and be responsible for providing proactive advice and support to our clients and the Investment Advisor, helping deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. Identifying new opportunities and helping to grow the business will be a key and exciting part of your role. What will you do? Client facing role to foster trusted, often multi-generational, long-term relationships using personalized service and advice Planning focused and leverage RBCs extensive investment and wealth management resources to create customized portfolios and wealth plans for clients Lead client account inquiries and take ownership of follow-ups Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation exercises, and client service plans. Utilize financial planning to identify opportunities for asset consolidation, Insurance, Estate & Trust, Retirement, Tax Planning Strategies and referrals across the existing client base Support your advisory team with new client acquisition. Establish and maintain reciprocal relationships with RBC partners such as Personal & Commercial Banking and Insurance to ensure clients are supported in all aspects of their financial lives Support both the advisory team and our clients throughout the Wealth Management process. Coordinate activities with internal Wealth Management specialists, manage documentation, track progress and follow up What do you need to succeed? Must Have Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC 5 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry University degree Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite Nice to Have Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills Highly developed client service skills What’s in it for you?
