In this role you will have the opportunity to travel throughout Alberta and NWT, where you will get the opportunity to work on and perform all repairs, troubleshooting, adjusting, overhauling, and maintaining mobile heavy-duty Cat equipment used in construction, forestry, mining, oil and gas. The Mobile Workforce will have technicians who are specialized in construction & forestry equipment, mining equipment and Power Systems product. We are looking for Heavy Duty Mechanics who are ready to build a long-term career with Finning. Technicians will have the opportunity to work both in shop and field environments to grow product and mechanical experience. You will be set up with dealer grade training and fully stocked field trucks with all the tools you need to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of Caterpillar equipment. This is a 7x7 continuous shift, where travel and camp/hotel or condo accommodations will be provided. (Schedule subject to change based on work location) If you are a safety conscious team player, self-motivated, autonomous, detail-oriented and possess your Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Certification with a valid driver’s license, then you are exactly who we are looking for!
