The team is looking for a seasoned contractor facilitator with proven experience in employer education on the topics of leadership and development, mental health, and financial wellbeing, and/or diversity, equity, and inclusion. Affiliate (contract) facilitators will represent the TELUS Health brand and deliver dynamic and psychologically safe education experiences for both virtual and in-person instructional-led deliveries. Clients range from small business and government agencies to large multinational clients. Deliveries of pre-packaged content will vary from one-hour awareness seminar deliveries to multi-day blended learning programs. What you will do: · Facilitate instructor-led training for senior business leadership teams as well as frontline employees, driving the development of key skills and capabilities of our programs. · Effectively translate client needs into educational delivery experiences and collaborates with internal TELUS stakeholders to deliver seamlessly. · Facilitate from behind-the-classroom and bring a coach-like approach (listening, questioning, challenging, conflict diffusion, reflection) to deliver upon instructional design strategies inherent in the content. What you bring: · Master’s degree in business, organizational development, psychology, nursing, or a related field, combined with an active professional/master-level education or coaching certification. · 5+ years of experience in multi-level facilitation, preferably within consulting or health industries. · Strong coaching skills at all levels and consistent application of these skills in the classroom · Exceptional facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse groups of employees and people leaders. · Proven track record of successfully guiding teams through sensitive conversations and processes and achieving measurable results. · Strong understanding of organizational dynamics, leadership development principles, and change management concepts. · Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation). · Excellent ability to build relationships and maintain trust with all levels of stakeholders. · Focused on providing a superb client experience. · Powerful thinker, great sense-maker, and a de-escalator of conflict. · Tact, political savvy, influencing skills and a great sense of humor. · Thought leader in one of more of the topical categories relating to workplace impact, staying ahead of emerging trends and introducing (TELUS approved) stories, anecdotes, and the latest insights. · Strong background in using all aspects of video conferencing tools (ideally Zoom Meeting™), as well as collaboration and polling techniques. · Proven track record of invoicing accuracy, completion, and timeliness, while following the contract facilitator rate schedule and submission requirements. · Ability to receive feedback from other master facilitators with demonstrated changes in facilitation and customer engagement techniques. · History of providing feedback in a timely manner to product teams to support timely improvements in education content and facilitation direction. · Ability to design and deliver tailored workshops that meet the specific needs and objectives of each engagement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. · Experience delivering against a robust facilitator capability model and implement an internal certification program to enhance facilitation skills across other organizations.
