The Leasing Coordinator is responsible for showing rental units to potential tenants and processing the documentation needed to secure renters. The role supports Community Managers with their property management duties which may require interacting with tenants regarding concerns or issues they need assistance with. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer-facing role and be able to provide exceptional customer service. What you'll do:
Support the promotion and leasing of residential rental properties from our inventory and be knowledgeable of their assets
Conduct market research and work collaboratively with the Senior Community Manager to establish leasing rates and incentives
Respond promptly to prospective and current resident queries and issues
Assist with organizing, marketing, and hosting open houses and other tenant events
Qualify prospective residents to determine their needs and suitability, process applications, and create lease agreements
Assist with the team’s marketing efforts by promoting available units
Respond to tenant requests and help enforce rules and regulations to assist and cover for Community Manager absences
Work evenings and weekends as required
Other duties as may be assigned
What you'll have:
Minimum of 2 years of customer-facing experience required
Proficient with computer systems, including strong MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
