We are seeking a part-time candidate with excellence in the area of Guest Services to fill the Night Audit shift on Fridays & Saturdays.
YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Provide a warm, engaging and personalized experience for our guests
Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely manner
Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers
Audit all in house guests’ portfolios for completeness and accuracy
Report hotel financial records and create reports in accordance with the Carmens Group accounting team
Roll front desk computers to next business day
Manage and resolve all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner
Use persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services available at the Hotel
Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Guest Services Agent or Night Auditor
Friendly, professional and customer service focused
Strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Smart Serve Certified
Availability to work from 11:00pm until 7:00am on Fridays and Saturdays
Previous experience using a POS system an asset
High School Diploma required, completion of college or university program in hospitality management is considered an asset
Experience using OPERA Cloud considered an asset
