Job Title Security Supervisor Job Description Summary The Security Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the department, during their given shift. The Supervisor is charged with direct oversight of the control center, deployed Security Guards, and all communication with tenants. Job Description Key Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities: While primarily situated in the Control Centre, oversee day to day operations within the complex. Oversee all incidents within the complex. Ensure all internal and external communication is indicative of a professional department. In concert with the Assistant Security and Life Safety Manager, monitor overall conduct and performance of all subordinate staff. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all incidents. Ensure weekly guard training requirements are met. In concert with the Assistant Security and Life Safety Manager, oversee all inspections, audits, or departmental secondary duties within the complex. Ensure that the control TPN/BOLO binder is maintained in accordance with site standards and/or policies. Any other secondary duty(s) as dictated by operational necessity. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant (preferably commercial) setting, in positions of increasing responsibility Working knowledge of MS Office applications Working knowledge of security systems (access control, CCTV, fire protection, incident reporting) Core Competencies and Skills: Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Strong customer service orientation Demonstrated relationship building skills Self-motivated and diplomatic Working knowledge of all applicable Health & Safety Legislation Working knowledge of Life Safety Protocols and Emergency Response Procedures in a vertical structure; including, but not limited to, emergency evacuation Highly developed organizational and time management skills Prior experience in a supervisory role Cushman & Wakefield is committed to equity in employment and our goal is to have a diverse, inclusive, and barrier-free workplace.
