SCCL is seeking a strategic communicator with a passion for the beef and dairy industry! The Digital Communication Specialist will lead digital campaigns, shape content strategy in close collaboration with a supportive and experienced team, and manage a major website re-launch. Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Global Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager to define strategies and key messaging.
Develop, edit, and distribute engaging and consistent messaging across various platforms, including websites, social media, and newsletters.
Lead the website re-launch project, coordinating with stakeholders to gather content and draft website copy.
Design, build, and execute email, social media, and automation campaigns using HubSpot.
Create and manage lead nurturing workflows, utilizing HubSpot for segmentation, targeting, and tracking leads throughout the customer journey.
Implement communication strategies and content for digital channels that align with organizational goals.
Managing paid digital campaigns across social and digital platforms like google ads.
Collaborate with content creator to optimize landing pages, social media posts, CTAs, and forms for enhanced engagement and conversions.
Monitor campaign performance using HubSpot’s reporting tools, generate insights, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Conduct A/B tests to enhance the effectiveness of campaigns, landing pages, and emails.
Maintain clean, segmented, and updated HubSpot CRM data for accurate reporting and targeted campaigns.
Update the WordPress website as needed.
Work closely with web developers and designers to ensure website content is optimized for user experience (UX) and search engine visibility (SEO).
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Animal Science, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Communication, or Agricultural Sciences.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in communications, social media, web content management, and project management.
Strong background in the beef/dairy industry.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) and social media management tools (HubSpot).
Solid understanding of website content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress or similar.
Fluency in an additional language is considered beneficial.
This is a remote role based in either Calgary, AB, or Saskatoon, SK
