The ideal co-op candidate will have experience in Information Technology, with hands-on experience and highly interested in with Cloud technologies. What You'll Do: Manage and administer Enterprise Data Lake and related eco-system technologies Passionate about learning Amazon Web Services, Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) Support AWS infrastructure and applications. Develop experience with compute (EC2), storage (S3), serverless (Lambda), databases (RDS), machine learning platforms like SageMaker and frameworks like GenAI for building/deploying AI/ML models, search service (Kendra), and core AWS services Work with Clients to onboard workload accounts for Data Insights and Visualizations using AWS QuickSight. Perform performance tuning for queries, applications, and resources Participate in infrastructure projects, from start to finish using relevant technologies Maintain documentation and procedures, help define, document and implement consistent standards and procedures, and collaborate with teams define and document requirements Utilize DevOps methodologies to develop scripts for Windows and Unix (Linux) based platforms Follow Change Management Process and support product development Collaborate closely with team members, technical leads, and application support teams to ensure quality database services Assist with evaluation and functionality and features within related database products What You Need to Succeed: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with teams and stakeholders Initiative, curiosity and conscientiousness to drive continuous improvement independently and collaboratively Proficiency in Linux, AWS services like EMR, EC2 and Glue for efficient system management and automation Experience with Bash/PowerShell scripting and network services. Preferred Skills / Assets: Pursuing a degree or diploma in Computer Science or related information technology. Proficiency in Database Development, ETL, and Reporting Strong conceptual and analytical abilities Willingness to share ideas and actively participate in group discussions We value analytical thinking and continuous learning.
