The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Technical Product Manager (Individual contributor – Director level) within Product and Platform Services team. We are seeking a talented, motivated and driven individual who will be responsible for being a Lead Technical Product Manager for driving better Developer Experience when using Cloud services (Infrastructure/Containers, PaaS and Data Analytics) and Developer tools. Work arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days from Home; Remote working option is not available. People Leader Role: No Position Responsibilities: You will be creating vision, strategy and elaborating use cases/requirements that engineering teams would love to deliver. This will be through engagement with internal customers (business segments), application owners, developers, cloud operations and security teams, product managers, engineering team and leadership. You will also be responsible for developing deliverable/release technical content for stakeholder consumption. You will interact cross-functionally with engineering, product managers, cloud operations team and internal business segments. Required Qualifications: Drive vision and strategy for Manulife Cloud and Developer Services Responsible for Elaboration of Use cases/requirements and maintains a prioritized product backlog (epics and user stories) based on business value, ROI and company vision. Responsible for owning Product Owner responsibilities for Agile Scrum/Kanban squad(s) Work both internally with functional groups (engineering, product managers, cloud operations team and internal business segments) to drive technical release content and deliverables. Engage with customers (business segments) on an occasional basis, solicit requirements and prioritize backlog accordingly. Create technical content for stakeholder consumption Own roadmap for Manulife Cloud Container/PaaS/Data Analytics services Deliver Solution/Feature Presentations/Demos at business reviews and meetings. Understands and critiques the architecture proposed by architecture team and ensures that the engineering team delivery is aligned to addressing business needs Work with scrum masters/program managers to track schedule against the roadmap, and escalate risks/ issues. Preferred Qualifications: Product Owner certification required MBA or equivalent strongly preferred 10+ years of experience in Cloud Services/software/automation industry preferred 4+ years of experience in Product Management preferred Experience in product owner responsibilities focused on Developer tools and Public Cloud Services, Software, Automation and Orchestration tools. Technical knowledge of Development tools, Public Cloud (preferably Azure) Containers, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Data Analytics technologies and GenAI technologies Familiarity of GenAI technologies, Cloud automation, Devsecops and Application/Platform/Infrastructure security and monitoring tools preferred. Experience with Agile development/Scrum methodologies required. Leadership skills to take new challenges and creativity to take new approaches to problems BS or equivalent required.
