As a senior cybersecurity incident handler, you’re responsible for handling cybersecurity incidents involving multiple teams and departments. You follow up on corrective actions, communicate with other key collaborators and document each incident. You ensure that procedures are followed and updated, while identifying opportunities for improvement. Your role also includes anticipating potential threats and implementing preventive measures to strengthen the organization’s security posture. You play a key role in responding to threats, ensuring processes are rigorously followed and keeping collaborators well informed. You also contribute to documenting and continuously improving incident management practices, while actively helping protect the organization against internal and external threats. What you bring to the table Bachelor's degree in a related field A minimum of six year of relevant cybersecurity experience, with a focus on incident management Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Certification recognized in the field, such as GIAC Certified Incident (GCIH) or equivalent Knowledge of French is required Expertise in current threats, attack vectors and incident response tools Expertise in working under pressure and managing multiple priorities simultaneously Expertise in communications, analysis and problem solving Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 and MITRE ATT&CK Interpersonal Savvy, Strategic mindset #LI-Hybrid Trade Union (If applicable) At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
