What is the Opportunity?As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a key part in supporting day-to-day HR operations, coordinating employee programs, and enhancing the employee experience. From managing data integrity and preparing employment documentation to analyzing workforce trends, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring smooth and efficient HR service delivery across the business. Please note, this is a 6-month contract position.
What You’ll Do Here:
Provide administration and coordination support on day-to-day tasks, programs and initiatives within business unit that is being supported.
Update, analyze and prepare routine HR reports and dashboards for circulation and review including but not limited to project resource schedules, leave of absence tracking, turnover analysis, etc.
With a focus on continuous improvement and process efficiency, liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders such as HR team members to promote or enhance related HR projects, programs or initiatives.
Prepare and update documents and templates as required including internal offers of employment, project assignment letters, employment changes, etc.
Respond and resolve employee questions or escalate to Manager with a strong focus on creating a positive employee experience.
Conducting face-to-face exit interviews to collect employee feedback proactively identifying trends and sharing findings with the leadership team.
Coordinate the leave of absence process by addressing all employee questions and coordinating with internal stakeholders on leave management (i.e. pension, benefits, payroll, etc).
Assist with auditing and peer reviewing with a focus on data integrity, accuracy and efficiency.
What You Bring to the Team:
Post-secondary education with a major in Human Resources or related field
3+ years’ experience within Human Resources, or area a specialization
Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and emerging project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables
Experience with SAP and Success Factors is an asset
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate with various audiences, stakeholders and end users.
Excellent analytical, trouble shooting skills
Strong customer service skills with the proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members as well as internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability using MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) with a strong ability using PowerPoint.
Attention to detail, exceptional organizational and time management skills
