Reporting to the Manager of Land Shared Services, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing and administering land-related system data and reporting. Acting as a liaison between the Land Systems team and key stakeholders - including Mineral and Surface Land, as well as Commercial Operations - you will support and maintain a portfolio of energy-related applications, with a primary focus on Canadian Natural's land system software, QBLM. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and seamless collaboration across land and operational teams.

Key Accountabilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between Information Systems (IS) and Land business units, managing relationships while supporting, maintaining, and enhancing a portfolio of custom and packaged applications, including system integrations
Evaluate requests for new features and functionality, preparing well-documented business cases to support application investments, while maintaining a strong understanding of system architecture across the portfolio
Lead planning and design efforts for data migration and application conversion projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements
Develop detailed design specifications and collaborate closely with Developers and Developer Analysts to monitor progress and ensure successful implementation
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve land application issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability in day-to-day operations
What You Bring to the Role:
10+ years of progressive experience as a Land Systems Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst, ideally within Land or Corporate Development functions, with a proven track record in implementing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise applications
Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field; ITIL Certification is considered a strong asset
Hands-on experience with land systems such as QBLM, CS Explorer, LandRite, LandView, or LandWorx, with a deep understanding of land-related data and workflows
Strong technical expertise in SQL and database design, with the ability to develop and manage complex data structures
Proficient in query and data integration tools such as FME and Microsoft Access
Experience designing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Report Builder and other business intelligence tools
