Job Description: The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region. Under the direction of the Manager, the Clinical Coordinator integrates knowledge, skill and research into the development and delivery of quality, client centered care. The incumbent will provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of client centered care to the patients and families served by the Maternity Visiting Program. In collaboration with their Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for assessing the needs of the program, its staff and clients by planning, implementing and evaluating its day to day function. The Coordinator will use a consultative approach and research findings to provide support to health care professionals as appropriate.

Education
Requires a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a recognized university with courses in public health nursing or graduation from an approved school of nursing with a diploma or certificate in Public Health Nursing.
Experience
Requires a minimum of three (3) years experience (in the last five (5) years) in Public Health Nursing and/or Maternal/Newborn nursing in a community setting.
Requires extensive knowledge and experience related to Maternal/Newborn care
Experience with program/resource development including needs assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation as well as Adult Education experience preferred.
Other Education and Training
Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLSC)
Basic computer skills
