Lead a team of finance professionals that provide insights and analyses that help other leaders understand financial perspectives, identify opportunities and risks, execute important financial processes in a quality, timely manner, and make sound investment/spending decisions. What you’ll do: Collaborate with leadership and other internal partners to understand financial impacts in the execution of strategies and initiatives Engage teammates within Finance to share relevant business insights and proactively action finance-related requirements on behalf of the business, enabling the Finance division to be a connected and sophisticated financial partner to the enterprise Direct processes for administration expense forecasting and scenario analysis Ensure transparency in value for investment and in realization measures, and provide business case support for strategic and operating investments Guide the development of management reporting, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data to provide insights and analytics for business decision-making Direct corporate banking relationships and payment activities, setting and maintaining appropriate service level standards and a robust internal control environment Coach and mentor a team of high-performing managers and employees What we’re looking for: Strong leader who confidently manages multiple priorities and a high-performance team Proven relationship-builder with sound business judgment Ability to connect and develop strong partnerships to enhance and forward corporate priorities Confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment What you’ll need: A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and approximately 10 years of related leadership experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts and analyses in business-centric terms that focus on the financial and business implications of decisions Proven ability to develop your team as finance business partners that emphasize a logic-based approach to decision-making and are focused on understanding and challenging underlying assumptions so they can critically assess business-led analyses while considering alternate scenarios Change resiliency with a high level of adaptability to prioritize and provide complex, advanced-analytics decision support in real time Digital literacy with a passion for learning and using digital technologies to enable data sourcing, interpretation and analytics, business narrative and storytelling Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
