POSITION GOAL:
Creates, publishes, and monitors Engineering reports through PowerBi, ensuring that it is modeled by a common data structure that satisfies the functional requirements of the area, and supports overall business objectives.
Supports the optimization of business systems internal to Engineering and as affected, cross functionally through the process of continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Creates, maintains and publishes Engineering PowerBi business reports.
Develops, maintains and improves Engineering SharePoint sites and Visual Studio programs. Responsible for the training of affected personnel.
Participates in and supports Engineering process improvement projects, system upgrades and modifications, to ensure continuity of data integrity, and optimal use of system functionality,
Analyze and identify departmental business system processes for improved automation and reporting.
Incorporate automation into Engineering business systems data collection for reporting purposes
Creates and maintains process documents pertaining to the creation and maintenance of PowerBi reports, SharePoint sites, Visual Studio programs, etc.
Degree / diploma in a related business systems discipline
2-3 years’ experience in data analysis/report development.
Experience in the design/development of SharePoint sites, PowerBi reports, Visual Studio, Visual Basic, Power Query
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work
Detail oriented
Ability to work independently
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Travel Requirement: Less than 5% of the time.
