We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our stellar office in Canada. Reporting into the Sr. Director, Product Management, the Business Analyst will need to understand the business process requirements of the clients and translate them to specific functional requirements for the Broadridge RPM software platforms. In addition to this, the Analyst, Product Management will need to document and analyze the required information and data to determine potential solutions from a technical and business perspective. Work Mode: We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be coming into the office 2 days a week and given the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time. Key Job Functions/Responsibilities Transform client business requirements into functional requirement documents (FRDs) Documenting and analyzing the required information and data to determine potential solutions from a technical and business perspective Assist with triaging client reported issues when required Work with the QA department testing projects as required including documentation of Test Strategies, Test Cases and Test Results Work with the various teams (Development, QA, Client Support and Client Services) to ensure delivery to the required specifications Provide support to the Development team when required to ensure project requirements are clear and development quality is increased Perform regular checks for industry changes that may impact the Broadridge RPM's product offering and/or Broadridge RPM's clients Understanding technical designs and business specifications Maintain knowledge of, and changes in, the financial industry regulatory environment Identify potential risks to project deliverables and suggest and manage risk mitigation strategy Participate in client project meetings and internal project meetings, as required. Regular and accurate updates to project management/tracking tool Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously Other duties as assigned by Management Qualifications: University or College Diploma, preferably in Business Administration and/or Computer/Software Engineering 8 years of experience in a Business Analyst role at a fintech or investment bank 5+ years’ experience, preferably in the Wealth Management industry, banking, mutual funds (record keeping or distribution) and/or securities Excellent problem-solving skills Demonstrate superior customer service Ability to work independently on projects, with tight deadlines, under minimal supervision Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Understand the business process requirements of the clients and translate them as required to specific software requirements is an asset #LI-MR1 #LI-Remote We are dedicated to fostering a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive environment and are committed to providing a workplace that empowers associates to be authentic and bring their best to work.
