Lead Business Analyst – Financial Risk Technology

Responsibilities:
• Interact with end users to gather and interpret data and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders, including architects, data office, and AML team, to align solutions with business objectives.
• Provide technical input and support for solution delivery using Microsoft technologies such as Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, and Power Apps.
• Assist junior offshore resources with solution implementation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure all project-related documentation and requirements are captured accurately, including Business Requirements Documentation (BRD).
• Contribute to the development of OLAP and OLTP-based data analytics and business intelligence systems.
• Participate in best practices and standards for delivery areas in collaboration with internal teams.
What you will need to succeed:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience as a junior analyst in a technical environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including SQL and Microsoft Azure tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and prepare detailed Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) and software specifications.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
• Hands-on experience in building OLAP and OLTP-based data analytics and business intelligence systems.
• Familiarity with the financial risk domain is a plus.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, time management, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
