The IT Solution Analyst Lead is responsible for leading design, deployment, maintenance and continuous improvement of Mosaic Potash Mining Operations and Product loading related applications and systems. This role will work closely with Product Owners, IT Partners, 3rd Party Vendors, and key stakeholders to develop solutions based on business priorities while leveraging SAFe Agile methodologies. What will you do? Lead the deployment, maintenance, upgrade and troubleshooting core business applications and systems including production Lead assigned portions of and/or participate in the development, analysis, prioritization, and organization of specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow Translate non-technical requirements into highly technical specifications Manage the set-up and configuration of systems Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance Manage and maintain overall solution architecture, scalability, and integrity Define solution limitations and requirements Work with Architects to ensure all systems integrate into the solution’s technology stack Work with vendors and suppliers to evaluate options for solutions and services ensuring external requirements and features are incorporated into solution designs Establish and enforce standards as part of the solution roadmap development Conducting regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process Develop and maintain technical documentation (processes, designs, etc.) Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms Serve as the subject matter expert for solution development in the assigned area Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members. Serve as the first reviewer for work performed by junior team members Other job duties and projects as assigned. What do you need for this role? Experience managing production and inventory tracking systems within mining industry preferred Experience managing Shipping and Quality management systems preferred Diploma in Computer Science, Business or related field is required, a Degree is preferred 7+ years of experience working with information technologies and systems analysis Strong knowledge of business processes, and how data and software applications support those processes .Net and Web Service Development experience preferred Experience with Data Historian systems preferred ITIL Experience preferred Oracle and/or SQL Server DBMS experience required React Web development experience preferred Experience with DevSecOps processes using Azure toolset preferred Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with packaged and/or SaaS applications. Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies required and SAFe Agile preferred.
