Job Description: Collaborate with business leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management. Partner with Global Centers of Excellence to implement HR strategies and programs. Provide guidance on HR, workforce, and leadership matters. Coach and advise managers on Collective Agreements and corporate policies. Support leadership through investigations, progressive discipline, and employee terminations. Address employee performance concerns and liaise with Union Business Representatives. Design succession plans and identify training gaps. Develop career development plans and foster a positive organizational culture. Execute annual HR programs, including compensation planning, performance management, and talent reviews. Educate and communicate with employees on HR initiatives. Qualifications: Post-secondary education in human resources management, labor relations management, or a related field. 5+ years of professional-level HR generalist experience. Previous experience with HRIS systems; Workday experience is an asset. HR designation (CPHR) or significant progress towards completion is an asset. Experience in a unionized heavy industrial environment is preferred. Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends and patterns. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously and influence change. Note: This position is based out of any of Finning corporate locations in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
