Events Coordinator
Support dynamic leadership training programs in the insurance industry as a detail-oriented Learning Coordinator. Use your skills in event planning, LMS platforms, logistics, and stakeholder management to drive impactful learning experiences. Hybrid work model with 3 days on-site in Markham.

Responsibilities:
• Manage delegate registration using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and platforms such as Kiosk.
• Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for program participants.
• Prepare and distribute delegate joining instructions.
• Oversee onsite event logistics and provide virtual technical support using Microsoft Teams.
• Set up physical classrooms and virtual sessions for training programs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Canada and the UK to support program execution.
• Coordinate with external vendors, including catering, hotels, and transportation providers.
• Ensure all events are delivered cost-effectively and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Capture post-event feedback and apply insights to improve future program planning.
• Generate reports and analyze data to support program evaluation and decision-making.
• Manage multiple concurrent learning programs and maintain consistent delivery standards.
What you will need to succeed:
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in event management, marketing, communications, or learning and development.
• 3+ years of experience in event planning, project management, or related roles.
• Proficiency in event management tools and digital communication platforms.
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal partners and external vendors.
• Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
• Ability to identify risks and escalate appropriately.
• Adaptable and quick to respond to changing demands.
• Proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional event experiences.
