Exciting Opportunity: Senior Software Developer – Product Security We're seeking a driven senior software developer to join our dynamic team specializing in product security. This role offers the chance to significantly enhance your expertise in secure development practices while working extensively with the Nasdaq Verafin application. You'll also have the unique opportunity to contribute to a plethora of additional repositories while continually enhancing our security posture. What You'll Do: Work closely with Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) to remediate container vulnerabilities Write and maintain application security features Coordinate penetration tests with 3rd party vendors Remediate security related findings Own security sensitive areas of the application such as Authentication and Authorization Security code reviews What We're Looking For: Strong analytical skills and creativity to solve complex problems Knowledge of secure coding best practises for Java and web applications An understanding of OWASP Top 10 would be considered an asset Experience with IaC/Terraform would be considered an asset What Success Looks Like: Bringing a security mindset to work everyday Self-driven individual who is inclined to take ownership of projects Adept to quickly ramp-up on projects Work effectively with other teams and stakeholders Deliver high-quality work and exceed expectations.
