This is a full-time, permanent position, starting in June 2025.Pay Rate: $22.95 per hourWe recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $27.80.Job Duties Include: Prepare, cook and service all food items for a la carte and buffet menus, or individual dishesOrganize and manage buffets and banquetsFollow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards, and follow all safety and sanitation policiesMaintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipmentEnsure proper labeling, dating and storage of all items in the kitchenEnsure cleanliness and maintenance of work areas, utensils, and equipmentPrepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances and handle guest allergy concerns with appropriate care and importance by reporting to Sous ChefQualificationsMinimum of three years in the culinary field requiredDiploma/Certification in a Culinary discipline requiredJourneyman’s papers or international equivalent an assetAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Physicals aspects include but are not limited to:Constant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 50+ lbsFrequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsAdditional InformationVisa Requirements: To progress with your application, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
