Join us and be part of an innovative and collaborative work environment.We are currently looking for a Licensed Senior Architect / Senior Technical Lead to join our Buildings Group (C2 Architecture Inc) in the Mississauga or Bowmanville offices, operating within a hybrid model. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to advance your career while working collaboratively within a dynamic team. You will have the chance to lead and manage a wide range of projects across multiple sectors, including transit, commercial, education, healthcare, and federal markets.Primary Responsibilities:Lead and mentor the project team in preparing conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and construction documents across various projectsOversee and integrate multi-disciplinary inputs into the design process, working with specialists in areas such as traffic engineering, transportation safety, storm water management, geotechnical engineering, and environmental/ecologyAssume the role of Project Manager, controlling and managing resources, budgets, and schedules for multiple projectsServe as the primary point of contact and liaison for clients, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycleAssist in managing and guiding the architectural staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environmentPrepare presentation materials and renderings for client meetings, public consultations, and design review processesCoordinate with regulatory agencies and prepare materials for permit application packages to secure necessary approvalsProvide contract administration and/or construction inspection services as requiredSupport continuous professional development by participating in internal and external learning opportunitiesRepresent the architectural team at project meetings, sharing insights and leadership across all stages of design and implementationContribute to the creation of written materials, including proposals, design briefs, meeting reports, and other documentation associated with the architectural design processLead design development and review processes, ensuring quality and alignment with client goals and project standardsMentor junior staff, fostering growth and development within the teamConduct QA/QC of drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and standardsQualificationsGraduate in Architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch) or equivalent combination of education and experienceFor Licensed Architect, OAA registration requiredMinimum of 10 years of relevant experience in architecture, with a proven track record of leading successful projectsProven ability to oversee QA/QC of design deliverables and ensure project standards are metStrong Contract Administration experience overseeing the contracts between parties in a construction projectStrong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesSelf-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on quality and client satisfactionProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driving record and access to a reliable personal vehicleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsLEED or Passive House accreditation is an assetWhy choose CIMA+?
