The Toronto office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG), Canada’s leading, innovative and client-focused law firm, is seeking: Associate – Disputes (EMER) We are looking for The ideal candidate will have 3 – 5 years of experience practicing in municipal law, be creative, have sound judgement, and experience assisting clients with some or all of: land acquisition and expropriation projects, with some real estate knowledge (note that general real estate title and transactional experience particularly in acting for municipalities or land development/condominium real estate experience are transferrable practices and would be considered an asset) land use planning approvals and appeals advocacy at the Ontario Land Tribunal BLG is committed to building a diverse workplace reflective of the communities we serve and to fostering an inclusive culture where Firm members feel valued, respected and inspired to thrive as their authentic selves.
