The Integration Specialist is responsible for planning, designing, implementing and supporting integration processes across applications and systems, ensuring seamless data integration and optimal business processes. This role also involves supporting quality engineers in integration testing, monitoring integration performance, providing operational and technical support, and driving automation. Specific Responsibilities include: Develop reusable assets, components, and frameworks to support API and integration projects. Deliver end-to-end service value in a complex landscape including global and local integrations. Handle integration requirements: design, deliver, and support event driven architecture, API’s etc. Ensure best practices, security and compliance with data regulations and guidelines. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to understand integration requirements, coordinate with the team to implement various solutions for business processes, and perform corrective measures as needed. Discover and understand the various platforms and systems in use and their integration points and develop new integration channels. Perform routine maintenance and monitoring to ensure integrations are optimized and healthy. Our Ideal Candidate will possess: A post-secondary degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or information technology, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Integration patterns. Experience integrating with Cloud/SaaS/on premise applications using REST/SOAP/Database/API. Experience with Event brokers, Messaging systems, etc. Experience with API Management. Knowledge of scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, Groovy. Demonstrated experience leading and working in an agile team environment and product software development lifecycle. Excellent communication skills and the ability to take technical concepts and translates them for non-technical users. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate and engage effectively with both technology and business partners. This job is classified under NOC Code: 21231.
