Why Wright Canada Holdings: A Company Culture of Safety, Family, Integrity, Excellence and Stewardship Pay rate of $20 to $28 per hour We provide ALL equipment needed except your CSA Certified Work Boots Compensated travel time, depending on working location, and live out allowance Employee Ownership potential Key Responsibilities: Mix and apply pesticides using various equipment (e.g., backpack sprayers, boom trucks, or aerial application systems). Identify target pests and assess treatment areas to determine proper pesticide application methods and dosages. Maintain accurate application records, including chemical use and weather conditions. Inspect and calibrate application equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pesticide use. Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE). Monitor treated areas for effectiveness and signs of adverse impact. Communicate with clients, supervisors, or the public regarding application plans and safety precautions. Other duties as required. Experience and Knowledge Expectations: Valid Provincial pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain one. High school diploma or GED equivalency. Knowledge of chemical safety, pest identification, and application techniques. Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, work outdoors in varying conditions, and walk long distances. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Valid Class 5 driver’s license, and Driver’s Abstract, with less than 6 demerits. Applicant must pass pre-employment drug screening. Valid First Aid with CPR or willingness to obtain. Ability to work as part of a team in physically demanding environments. Motivated to learn independently and from team members, with strong time management skills. Proficiency in operating and maintaining tools and equipment. Comfortable working in noisy environments with proper PPE.
