It’s a pivotal role that combines strategic vision, project management, and hands-on operational leadership. Responsibilities : Fulfillment Operations Setup & Project Management Lead the establishment of micro-fulfillment operations, designing workflows, procuring resources, and ensuring successful implementation. Oversee the configuration and optimization of existing Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Order Management System (OMS). Support the Purchasing in the procurement of equipment, managing supplier relationships for seamless setup. Manage cross-functional collaboration with IT, logistics, HR, and finance teams to meet launch milestones within budget and timeline. Operational & Performance Management Oversee daily fulfillment center activities, including inventory management, order processing, and shipping, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency. Implement structured site-level performance management, including improvement plans, deviation handling, and feedback mechanisms. Identify performance deviations, develop corrective actions, and leverage data-driven insights for optimization. Supervise, mentor, and develop supervisors and associates, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Cost Management & Financial Oversight Manage the fulfillment center's Profit & Loss (P&L), ensuring cost control and financial planning to maximize efficiency. Detect cost levers within 3PL business cases, leading cost-saving and productivity-enhancing initiatives. Engage stakeholders to refine business cases and influence cost-reduction strategies. Scalability & Continuous Improvement Forecast order volumes and resource needs, ensuring the facility scales effectively for seasonal peaks and operational demands. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, labor efficiency, and cost per unit. Apply and enforce standardized operational processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency. Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to proactively address potential inefficiencies. Implement operational excellence initiatives and foster structured follow-up with teams. Change & Network Management Coordinate the fulfillment center’s alignment within the broader network, facilitating smooth integration. Establish and maintain strong relationships with leadership and 3PL providers, acting as a key liaison. Qualifications : 8+ years in logistics, operations, or supply chain management, with a proven track record of progression Bachelor's or advanced degree in STEM, Logistics/Supply Chain or Business Administration In-depth experience in setting up and managing micro-fulfillment or small-scale fulfillment centers Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Order Management System (OMS), with the ability to configure, optimize, and troubleshoot these systems as needed Demonstrated expertise in driving operational excellence and continuous process improvements Exceptional complex project management, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Clear communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building abilities Ability to develop positive and effective initiatives, acting as a primary proposer Demonstrated competence in establishing continuous and successful bi-directional exchange of support with internal senior network management Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing environment, and to solve complex operational issues with creative, effective solutions Advanced degree in a relevant field/MBA Intelcom is a leading last-mile carrier in the e-commerce sector.
