Executive Search Researchers identify, approach, assess and select leadership level candidates, supporting both Consultants and Leadership with the generation and management of candidates for client assignments and with wider projects such as market mapping exercises, advisory services, and business development. Working across a broad range of assignments, functions, geographic locations and sectors. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved in only a short space of time. S/he will also research information on organizations and ensure that the database is up-to-date and readily accessible by Consultants. YOU WILL - The research function can be related to specific assignments and/or business development - Prepare a comprehensive research list of potential candidates, contacts or search leads for each assignment The research list could be drawn using various research tools like Thrive database search, Boolean search, LinkedIn networks/groups, Google and search leads from trusted contacts - Research of new organisations for potential candidates and/or business development to gather general sector knowledge and improving the Thrive Database - Searching for new websites / software opportunities that are relevant for our fields of work, always thinking about how we can innovate our business or processes. - Sourcing interesting and latest updates on various business sectors - Finalise the job description and/or adverts with the consultants, and when needed, prepare the appointment brief and advertise them when required website and other relevant job sites, news sites and social and professional networks - Participate in briefing and update meetings with consultant/client as necessary - When needed, manage the communication with the candidates for the entire assignment period including – acknowledgments, ensuring the application is complete, communicating the application stage, rejection notes etc. building critical long term relationships with candidates and clients. - Ensure Thrive is up to date, enabling the team to report effectively on diversity and location statistics - Participate in the testing and evaluation of new tools and search technologies. REQUIREMENTS - Fast and accurate research and administrative skills and experience - Ability to learn to use new software - Knowledge of databases, data and communicating the salient points of complex information - Demonstrable interest and broad knowledge of current affairs and geopolitical issues. - Excellent written and oral English language communication skills with keen attention to detail and the confidence to liaise with senior candidates and clients - Calm under pressure, with a good understanding of cultural diversity - Exemplary organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent project management skills with a ‘completer – finisher’ attitude - Ability to work within a small, close-knit team and respond quickly and efficiently to requests for support - Methodical and structured, with excellent attention to detail and quality - Able to prioritise across multiple assignments in multiple timezones - Able to work under pressure and handle changing priorities - Communicates effectively (written and verbal), with a confident phone manner - Comfortable with hard-work; tenacious, resilient and flexible - Able to work autonomously, take ownership and influence more senior colleagues - Intellectually bright, curious, learns quickly and retains knowledge, demonstrates a willingness to learn from others - Knowledge of other languages is desirable but not essential Welcome to the Wilson Careers page!
