Vencora Business Unit: Job Summary: Job Description Summary Reporting into the Corporate Development Manager, the Corporate Development Intern will assist the corporate development team in driving Vencora's front end acquisition activities in the Financial Services / Banking and Insurance verticals across key markets. Our focus is to build a strong portfolio of businesses that are specialists in their own verticals. What you will be doing You will help the Corporate Development team in driving acquisition activities of sourcing and nurturing target companies by: Contributing to the identification of leads for vertical market software businesses, meeting our strategic criteria and specific metrics, in new geographies. Assisting in the maintenance and housekeeping of a proprietary database of leads by qualifying and classifying them into relevant business segments. Identifying brokers and M&A advisors specialized in FinTech and InsurTech for the Corporate Development team to nurture relationships with. Helping the team with ad-hoc projects specific to M&A Corporate Development. Skills You Will Bring We are looking for someone that is interested in M&A Corporate Development, is motivated to complete project-based tasks, and has a good attention to detail. You have good social skills, a professional demeanor, and are energetic. You are inquisitive and intellectually curious by nature and enjoy forming and nurturing relationships. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate business degree with good academic performance. Have strong communication skills. You are highly metrics driven. Confident in presenting to senior stakeholders within Vencora. Completion of courses related to M&A, software, or technology is considered an asset. Professional attitude and a persistent and solid work ethic. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
