Notre client est un organisme de recherche appliquée en intelligence artificielle reconnu pour son rôle stratégique dans le développement et le transfert de solutions innovantes. Il accompagne les organisations dans la réduction des incertitudes technologiques et l’accélération de la commercialisation de leurs produits en s’appuyant sur des projets sur mesure en recherche appliquée.
Dans le cadre du renforcement de son expertise en vision par ordinateur, il recherche un(e) scientifique sénior.e ayant une solide expérience en traitement et/ou synthèse d’image, en apprentissage profond et intelligence artificielle. Ce poste vise à soutenir le développement de prototypes et de preuves de concept à la fine pointe de l’état de l’art.
Missions :
Participation de manière simultanée à la réalisation et à l’encadrement de plusieurs projets en vision par ordinateur portant sur des problématiques industrielles
Proposition et réalisation de projets de recherche en vision sur des sujets d’intérêt scientifique et de développement des affaires
Participation à l’évaluation de nouveaux projets (complexité technique, enjeux, faisabilité, etc.)
Contribution à la rédaction d’offres de service
Collaboration au rayonnement scientifique et technique de l'organisme de recherche par l’organisation d’activités ou en disséminant les avancées pertinentes à la communauté par divers modes de diffusion
Maintien des connaissances à jour, contribuer aux séminaires scientifiques internes et externes pour partager son savoir-faire.
Assurer et documenter les activités de veille scientifique approfondie sur les avancées en vision par ordinateur et partager ces connaissances au sein de l'organisme de recherche
Profil :
Doctorat en informatique avec spécialisation en vision par ordinateur
Expérience minimale de cinq années en vision et apprentissage profond
Excellentes capacités de rédaction dans différents contextes (revue scientifique, documentation technique, vulgarisation, etc.)
Expérience démontrable en matière de de vision (classification, segmentation sémantique, détection d’objet); expérience avec les modèles génératifs et plus particulièrement les modèles multimodaux
Capacité à comprendre les besoins des utilisateurs/experts de domaine et d’en extraire des requis techniques, d’élaborer un plan de travail et de mener une équipe dans la réalisation de solutions
Maîtrise de Python et d’une librairie d’apprentissage profond (Pytorch, Tensorflow)
Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais parlé et écrit

To strengthen its expertise in computer vision, it is looking for a senior scientist with solid experience in image processing and/or synthesis, deep learning and artificial intelligence. This position aims to support the development of state-of-the-art prototypes and proofs of concept.
Missions :
Simultaneous participation in the implementation and supervision of several computer vision projects addressing industrial issues
Proposal and implementation of vision research projects on topics of scientific and business development interest
Participation in the evaluation of new projects (technical complexity, challenges, feasibility, etc.). )
Contribute to the drafting of service offers
Contribute to the scientific and technical outreach of the research organization by organizing activities or disseminating relevant advances to the community through various means
Keep knowledge up to date, contribute to internal and external scientific seminars to share know-how.
Ensure and document in-depth scientific watch activities on advances in computer vision, and share this knowledge within the research organization
Profile :
PhD in computer science with specialization in computer vision
Minimum five years' experience in vision and deep learning
Excellent writing skills in various contexts (scientific journal, technical documentation, popularization, etc.). )
Demonstrable experience in vision (classification, semantic segmentation, object detection); experience with generative models and more particularly multimodal models
Ability to understand the needs of users/domain experts and extract technical requirements, develop a work plan and lead a team in the realization of solutions
Proficiency in Python and a deep learning library (Pytorch, Tensorflow)
Fluency in spoken and written French and English
Assets
Experience in image processing and remote sensing/geospatial
Experience in carrying out large-scale projects
Knowledge of MLOps
Knowledge of using high-performance computing clusters
Extensive knowledge of statistics, probability or other areas of mathematics relevant to machine learning in general
History of scientific publications
