At three years the pay rate for this role would be $29.10.Job Duties Include:Responsible for the creation, implementation and the maintaining of Whistler Experience programs including group and individual programmingFacilitation of Whistler Experience programs including but not limited to; interpretive walks & hikes, bicycle tours, stargazing, ski valet assistance, ski hill ‘run of the day’, snowshoeing, fireside chats (après)Ensure the safety of our guest at all times during excursions and eventsBe able to answer all guest questions in regard to Whistler Blackcomb Mountains, the community and Sea to Sky corridor and the plant and wildlife in the areaHave a good working relationship with local businesses and municipalityResponsible for purchasing, maintaining and inventory counts of products for Whistler Experience programmingAccurate daily tracking of all activities and participationFacilitation of information sessions to guests and staff in regard to the program and its offerings as needed based seasonal changeQualificationsStandard / Wilderness First Aid is requiredExpert knowledge of Whistler Blackcomb MountainsPassion for the outdoors, most notably skiing/snowboardingExpert knowledge of Whistler community and surrounding areaBack country ski experiencePrevious experience in coaching/training related to mountain activities an assetJob Perks & Benefits:Subsidized staff accommodation providedComplimentary meal in our staff cafeteria per shiftAccess to our Employee Travel Program, with discounts on room rates and food & beverage at Fairmont & Accor properties worldwideHotel leisure benefits including Golf/Ski passesAdditional InformationVisa Requirements: To progress with your application, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
