Job Description: Job Summary The Auto Mechanic 310S or 310T is responsible for the inspection repair and maintenance and diagnostic tests of the UPS vehicle fleet. Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent Workdays: Monday to Friday (must be able to work ALL 5 days of the week) Shift Hours: 3.00 PM to 11.30 PM (must be able to work a minimum of 40 hrs. per week) Shift Duration: 8 hours a day (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time) Work Location: UPS Burlington Ont., 1101 Blair Road, L7M 1T3 Hourly Wage: $31.00 per hour - after 90 days probationary period - $32.00 - after 90 days and 12 months - $33.00 - after 90 days and 24 months - $40.89 (current top rate 2025) Key Responsibilities and Duties Repair & inspect and maintain UPS diesel, propane, CNG and gasoline vehicles in a regular and timely manner. Operate/test company vehicles within the UPS facilities & on public roads. Requirements Possession of a valid Red Seal 310S or 310T license - Required Possession of essential Trade Tools and Equipment - Required Clean Driver's Abstract confirming - Required: a) No violations/accidents for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months) b) No traffic violations/accidents within the last 12 months and maximum 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months) Ability to lift-up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted.
