Come join the Mercury Filmworks team in an exciting position as a key player on a new production. We are looking for a Full time Temporary experienced and talented Senior Compositing Artist to join an upcoming exciting production.
Duties and Responsibilities
Become familiar with the tools, techniques and pipeline within the studio.
Work with Compositing Department Head and Supervisor to interpret colour keys and lighting style of the production.
Meet production deadlines and communicate clearly with production management.
Be expected to meet the level of quality required.
Work with upstream departments to ensure elements are being delivered correctly.
Communicate and work to resolve inefficiencies with the Supervisor.
Qualifications
3-5 years of professional experience in 2D compositing.
Proven experience of Lighting/Rendering/Compositing on CG productions.
Strong working knowledge of 2D compositing preferably including Harmony other compositing software would be an asset but not required.
A strong creative portfolio.
A strong, measurable track record in delivering against project goals.
Excellent attention to detail
and ability to follow
direction.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Deadline driven.
