Grow our global Sales Team (and your career)! We seek a dynamic & proactive hunter to acquire new subscription Clients for our financial data API. Join our 4 colleagues in Toronto and help us identify, engage and convert key decision-makers within financial institutions and corporations. We work in a hybrid model - we'd love to meet you in the office from time to time. In this role, you will: Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify new leads within target financial institutions, corporations, and related organizations. Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that clearly articulate the value proposition and technical capabilities of our API to diverse audiences, including both business and technical stakeholders. Skillfully manage complex sales cycles, addressing objections, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and securing subscription agreements. Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the Office of the Controller, Finance departments, and IT teams responsible for inbound data feeds (e.g., ERP, TMS). Continuously monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive offerings to maintain a strong understanding of the evolving financial data landscape. Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, including pipeline updates and revenue projections, to management. Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, satisfaction, and long-term growth. What skillset do you need to be successful in this role? 3+ years pure hunter, outside sales experience with quota-crushing results. Proven selling of technical solutions (SaaS/API preferred). Fluent English. Strong understanding of financial data landscape & systems. Existing network within financial institutions (Controller, Finance, IT). Excellent communication & presentation skills. Self-motivated, organized, results-driven; thrives in field sales. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
