This role is responsible for overseeing the DtC Operation, Planning for Samsung Experience Stores (SES), and Samsung.com (eStore), The role will serve to synchronize the monthly forecast process with the operational CPFR process and find alignment across the divisions. The role includes consolidating, managing and analyzing vast sets of data to provide insights across the Omni channel and to apply said learnings to help drive the business. In addition, this includes driving the monthly forecasting process, as well as the forward-looking Quarterly Business Review. Role and Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: DtC Operation/Planning Create the monthly/quarterly/yearly DtC sales forecast of the MX/HE/DA/EBD divisions with the division planning teams and the division leadership teams (HOD & BM) Provide insights and advice to SES and eStore in setting up annual budget and monthly forecast process Creates monthly submission and report for the “CMF” process of SES and eStore Correspond the DtC Planning and Operations with the Suwon (HQ) teams Build the DtC Sell-Out forecasting model associated with the marketing plans, activities and KPIs (Traffic, CVR, AOV) to improve the forecast accuracy Create the S.com B2B channel forecasting model & the resource planning to support the existing and additional B2B channels (Direct EPP accounts, Marketplace accounts, internal/external EPP) Manage the DtC SCM/PSI model/process with all divisions including MX/HE/DA/EBD Operate the S.com SCM process (Auto Replenishment) internally at the DtC division by managing all Sell-Out AP1/AP2 and coordinating Sell-In AP1/AP2 with Sales Division SCM teams Manage and optimize the S.com multiple warehouse operation model to minimize the cross-ship cost between East & West Create the SES Store Level PSI model 1) to optimize the inventory level, 2) minimize the cross-ship cost between the stores and 3) support the SES expansion plan. Weekly Omni channel review with key stakeholders and identify recent trends and future action plans Drive the Monthly/Quarterly Business Review process to discuss learnings from past performance and also review future outlook with data-driven analytics with key stakeholders Assist & create the finance reports (TIM/Margin tracker, P&L Forecast, etc) for the teams to plan/track/optimize the Operation Expenses DtC Project Assist in automation and maintenance on sales data and resulting reports from SES, eShop and SIS.com Building of analytics simulations/models as needed by functional teams and setting processes and tools to measure performance and accuracy Support the s.com & SES strategic projects to grow the DtC business and improve the customer experience at s.com and SES Skills and Qualifications Requirements: Education: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Commerce (or equivalent) preferred MBA desirable Knowledge: Experience with the Direct to Consumer business (Retail Store or online) Strong data analytical skills Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications Experience with an ERP systems (preferably SAP) an asset Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills Bilingual in Korean (oral and written) is an asset Proficiency in supply chain process, management tools and technologies Knowledge of Financial analysis (Revenue to PL) Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels Proven ability to function effectively in a team environment Demonstrated people management skills Strong with agile process management including the development of new processes Ability to work independently, take initiative and use good judgment. Works well under pressure and can manage multiple tasks under time constraints Sense of urgency in managing projects and likes a fast paced environment Experience: A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive data analysis and planning/ forecasting experience preferred Samsung is an equal employment opportunity employer.
