Job Summary The Associate is responsible for managing his/her respective Project Design Team. They are fully responsible and accountable for their design team staff, regularly review staffing and distribute tasks effectively and consistently with staff skill sets. By providing technical support and management resources the Associate ensures that design decision-making and team management accountability take place. Responsibilities & Qualifications Leads a team ensuring members receive adequate training, support and development opportunities Accountable for ensuring appropriate utilization, workload planning and forecasting Implements programs to improve the quality of service, products, and systems to meet client's requirements, minimize costs, and maximize the firm’s competitive position Promote quality issues with all team members and ensure that the quality control function is effectively performed and embedded as a standard in the team Assure adequate field review services are provided to ensure adherence of contract documents Act as the firm representative and maintain good relationships with clients, project stakeholders, associations, government bodies and other entities Is an active role model for team and office culture and promotes an inclusive workplace Builds and manages their own key clients and monitors key pursuits/opportunities Contributes to GO/NO-GO decisions with the mindset of growing the business ·Monitors and assists with keeping team performance at or above the annual plan Is a discipline lead on projects with minimal peer/technical support required Qualifications and Experience 6+ years design experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Control systems Experience leading and designing aviation projects highly preferred Has led a team University degree, college/technology diploma in Mechanical Engineering Professional Engineer (PEng), Applied Science Technologist (AScT), or EIT designations are highly preferred LEED® Accredited professional designation or other relevant rating or performance system is desired Additional Information Additional Job Description Introba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $90,000 - $135,000 annually for this position and local market.
