Release Manager
Plans the release of project deliverables and release life cycle.
- Communicates the release plans to clients
- Coordinates the release schedule and resources required depending upon the third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates.
- Identifies the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected.
- Tracks the progress and find issues, if any. Always works to improve the process of release.
- Ensures that the release is planned, according to the requirements and budget.
- Schedules the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release.
- Creates release plans and deployment schedules based on implementation schedule
- Plans and give scheduled updates on the release activities
- Ensures that DevOps are available and assigned to every release
- Communicates with Implementation managers from different initiatives
- Leads the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully.
- Participate in CAB meetings to discuss the release schedules, scope of releases, and address roadblocks, if any.
- Maintains documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies.
- Makes improvements in the methodologies used for release management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in related field
- Project management experience
- Strong knowledge and experience with healthcare/medical sector
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines
- Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies
- Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
- Strong team / time management skills
- Experience in the use of Application Release Automation tools
- Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban
- Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytics skills

Currently, most work is being done remotely. We may ask staff to return to onsite work at a later date.
